Christopher has experience in a wide range of commercial property matters, assisting and advising commercial tenants, landlords, investors, and developers.
He advises on acquisitions and disposals, real estate finance (acting for both borrowers and institutional lenders), and commercial landlord & tenant matters.
He also provides corporate support in transactions such as business sales, acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate banking matters, and in the property elements for education clients, acting for schools, multi-academy trusts, and academies.
Work highlights include:
- Assisting a national bathroom store with their acquisition of leases for over 60 sites to increase their national presence and with the ongoing management of their commercial property portfolio;
- Sale of academy non-playing field land for multi-academy trust; and
- Multi-property re-finance and subsequent warehouse purchase
Christopher is President of the Huddersfield & Dewsbury Incorporated Law Society where he works to raise the profile of the legal community he serves, and a member of the ESG committee, working with colleagues on several fundraising and charitable activities.
