Clare Young
President of the Sheffield and District Law Society (24/25)
Clare is Campus Manager for the University of Law campus in Sheffield, and also President of the Sheffield and District Law Society (24/25). As President, Clare has worked closely with local solicitors and firms to re-build SDLS sub-committees, covering areas including Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Pro Bono, Legal Tech, Crime and Regulatory and Next Generation.
Prior to joining the University of Law, Clare had practiced as an Employment Law solicitor in the UK and Australia. Clare also holds a PhD in Management, having explored how HR practitioners make sense of and apply employment laws in the UK and Australia.
