Dr Jess Guth
Head of Business and Law, Leeds Trinity University
Jess is a legal education expert with over 20 years experience and an extensive publication record in legal pedagogy and legal education reform. She teaches predominantly in the areas of EU Law and Human Rights. Jess is the Vice-Chair of the Association of Law teachers and serves on the Legal Education Subcommittee for the Society of Legal Scholars and she has recently joined the Executive of the Committee of Heads of University Law Schools.
Jess believes strongly in social justice and the role law and legal education can play in creating more just societies. She believes in empowering colleagues and students through compassion and kindness and is looking forward to bringing her authentic approach to the judging process.
